  Exactly. We are talking about freedom of religion. During the Catholic Inquisitions which lasted 6 centuries, not one of 80 Popes in a row declined to speak against the institution of the Inquisition.... which is all the JW judicial committiees are. Instead of actual torture that resulted in murder, the JW Inquisition flies under modern countries radar with social murder... shunning.

  in its latest april 2025 watchtower study article 17 and paragraph 12 the watchtower promotes 2 dangerous lies that will cost your life if you are a believing christian during the time of the end, so i'm considering today the first lie in the first part of the paragraph, but first let's read the paragraph itself: "today, jehovah promises to provide us with spiritual protection.

  Good points. Jesus said that the world would be filled with deception at the end of the age:

  i know as a jw i concluded several times that i was not brainwashed as i was not some unautonimous zombie and had not experienced anything akin to.... .

  but in reality, brainwashing is a control of thought and ideas over a person and changing the way they think.

  in normal life such sentences are not used, in fact they are highly discouraged... .

  JW's will have to find other means to get their jollies since it is no longer PC to talk about their neighbors and co-workers becoming bird food and manure on the ground. The old timers are being put out to pasture, after WT ganked their life savings and family wealth of course.

  This is nothing less than WT admittling that they never believed the old filty whore schtick about churches, just as they never believed the fear porn about the UN being the wild beast of Satan when they agreed to support UN objectives while they were listed as a UN NGO.

  The question is how many brain-dead members under 40 will go along with this ?

  Yes, they try to teach this. They have to reach back and grab some OT lingo and put a symbolic spin on it and presto! They think there is another way to get saved other than through the blood covenant. Only trouble is NT theology talks about "one new man" not two:
